In my last Zara cart
Zara has the most adorable kids’ clothes – trendy without breaking the bank which is a must for my growing girls! I ordered these kicks for Gwynnie and wish they had them in my size. And ordered this dress that Coco wore on Easter. Gwynnie wore this dress the moment the box came and I could just eat her up. This dress is another cute one… Gwynnie has also been wearing this dress non-stop – so cute with sneakers! Ordered these for Georgia and Coco for summer. They haven’t worn them yet so I’ll report back and let you know how they fit! Thought they’d be good for running around, camps. and the pool. They like to wear slides/flip flops but their feet always come out. These aren’t as sturdy but super cute pool slides for kids. Again, why can’t they be in my size? And one more adorable dress that would be so cute with these little kicks….

Tucky Belt!
You know how I wear a shirt knotted up or sweater over a dress… well my friend Brooke Knaus invented the Tucky Belt. You can put it on your skin or wear it over your dress. You can tuck your sweater, shirt, sweatshirt into the Tucky Belt and it gives you the perfect tuck without making it bulky. It’s a game changer!

Big Milestone
This month was our 17 year Jewelry Anniversary!! 17 years ago I set up a booth at the Charlottesville Farmers Market at 5:45am to sell 25 pairs of handmade earrings from the back of my car. I loved it from the first moment I was there. After I moved to Charlotte, Bryan and I would still drive 4.5 hours to Charlottesville on Friday nights, just to be there in the morning. Everyone thought I was crazy, but this place filled my soul and gave me a reason to continue making jewelry. I will always be forever grateful for the friends I met those early mornings and for all the people who have supported me for the past 17 years. I would have never imagine that 25 pairs of earrings would turn into my passion that feeds my soul and has connected me to all of YOU!
Grandparents Day
We were finally able to have a Grandparent’s and Special Friends Day at the girls school! It was so fun for them to have my Mother-in-law and Father-in-law in town to visit. Then we headed to Optimist Hall for lunch – I love stopping by Archer Paper whenever we go to Optimist Hall – they have the sweetest stuff and it could entertain the girls for hours!
Trips this Month
We headed to Williamsburg for Easter – we got to see my sister and niece and nephew who live in Dallas – I hadn’t seen them in months! It’s always so fun to see the girls playing with their cousins and making those memories.
Of course, I headed to NYC for a spring buying trip! You can read all about that trip here. And read all about my favorite NY hotels here.
I also got to pop out of town for a quick girl’s trip – mountain air. good food. and friends for over a decade… the perfect combo! I moved to Charlotte over a decade ago. Bryan was traveling every weekend for work, and I was trying to start a jewelry business in our spare bedroom. These girls have been there for me from day one and have been a huge support in my business every step of the way. They have had my back, celebrated wins and comforted me when things are tough. Grateful for this crew!
Jewelry for a cause
I still can’t believe that in less than 24 hours we collectively raised $10,000 for the Ukrainian refugees. It just felt so amazing to do that and I know a lot of you were super excited about it too… so I thought, why stop there!?
Every single month we are going to work with a new organization/non-profit and design a donation bracelet with the red heart bead integrated in some way. They will be $20 and each month, we will give 100% of these proceeds to a new organization. This month we are raising money for LLS (Leukemia Lymphoma Society) to help further blood cancer research.
We are working with Kenna Ehman from Kenna Kunijo Salon to help her meet her goal in raising $500,000 for LLS! I know so many of you have been impacted by LLS. It’s also the number one cancer diagnosed in children. Click here to order one of our LLS bracelets.
