A Note From Erin: The Cottage!!

For today’s blog post, I wanted to do something a little different. Many of you may already know about The Cottage, but I wanted to give you some background on why I opened it this summer and what I hope it will be for you — because it’s really all about you, my friends!!

This dream of an EMJ retail location has been 20 years in the making! I’m so grateful for the community we’ve built online, and I wanted to create a space where you could experience that magic in person. The Cottage is an extension of what you see on Instagram — real women shopping, trying out new combinations, and hosting live events with other entrepreneurs we love!

I found this house in Elizabeth and knew right away it was the perfect place to bring this vision to life. It already had that cozy, homey feel — we just added our own touch with fun wallpaper, light paint, and of course, all of our jewelry! Funny enough, when I first started making jewelry in college, I lived in a little cottage just like this. It really feels meant to be!

I love that there’s a kitchen where we can enjoy coffee with you, and a living room where you can settle in and relax. Come alone for a peaceful moment, bring the kids, or shop with your girlfriends — truly, everyone is welcome at The Cottage!!

We’ve already hosted a few in-person events, and I’m excited to do even more in 2025! I’m not someone with a five-year plan, but I can absolutely envision The Cottage filled with people! I want it to be a place of inspiration, creativity, and community,  just like our online space.

These last few months have been so fun seeing you try on our pieces, shop for friends, and, of course, getting to see your faces! It’s also been amazing to see how much you love our charm bar. I’m excited to create more experiences like that for you in person.
