Hi Friends!
Bryan and I were just in Charleston for a friend's wedding, and I wanted to share a list of recommendations that Megan shared with me if any of you are ever in the area & and would like the inside scoop on where to go. I forgot to add our hotel to the list...we stayed at The Dewberry and it was great...very centrally located, fun rooftop bar, complimentary bikes and a fun vibe. I also wanted to share my outfit with you guys!! This whimsical piece is the Hyacinth Maxi Dress by Staud in 'Multi Aura.' Funny story: I didn't try this dress on until about 30 minutes before the wedding and I was tripping over the over the slip, so I ran to Walgreens, bought scissors, and cut half of the slip off! I honestly loved the new look!!
For accessories, I stacked four French Lavender Fields Necklaces, and brought our Neon Clutch for an additional pop of color & conversation piece. I set aside the Love Knot Studs (on Sale for $22 today) but totally forgot to grab them before we left, and made a last minute decision to purchase this belt on Amazon (and it was only $12.99) !! I literally had someone ask me if it was vintage. It looks so good in person, and is perfect to wear over long dresses. I also have to share the dress my friend, Darcie wore to the wedding: The Calluna Neck-Tie Organza Gown in 'French Blue,' - she looked absolutely incredible!! We had the best time "twinning."
As I was getting links together for you guys, I came across my dress in yellow, and a shorter version of my dress called the Hyacinth Tiered Flared Minidress in 'Coastal Ombre.' These dresses are so fun!! I think the Vacation Mode Earrings would look fabulous with the yellow dress, and I think a bright combo of the Hot Pink Clutch, the Gold and Freshwater Pearl Seashell Earrings, and the Triple Turquoise Bracelets would be the perfect pops of color for the mini dress.
xoxo,
Erin
