Bryan and I had a kid free week in Charlotte for the first time in 7 years...!!! So of course we got bored and decided to go to one of our favorite places for 24(ish) hours. I've put together some of my favorites and stop on our most recentĀ whirlwind in NYC!Ā
Ā
First stop was Balthazar because I'm not kidding when I tell you I DREAM about these chocolate chip cookies. But don't worry, I washed it down with a green juice š
This trip we stayed at The Refinery - it's one of our go-to's but One Hotel is also great - they have locations all over the world - and have two in New York! If you ever have the chance you should also try the Highline HotelĀ - it's beautiful and has the cutest outdoor restaurants.Ā
While we waited for our room to be ready we planned our second breakfast... we headed to Butcher's Daughter after we dropped our bags. They also have a location in LA and I always be sure to stop in no matter which city I'm in. I also love Black Seed Bagels, Egg Shop, and Jack's Wife FredaĀ for breakfast and brunch.Ā
Of course I headed to the garment district and loaded up on more semi precious stones and a lot of other fun new jewelry I can't wait to share with you!Ā
Bryan and I met up with some friends, had drinks and walked & ate our way all over the city. I think we ended up going to about 8 different restaurants. It was so fun!Ā
We had drinks at The Nines, stopped atĀ Extra VirginĀ (one of our favorites!) and I can never pass up a slice of pizza from Emmet's Pizza on Grove in the West Village.Ā We headed toĀ The Bowery Hotel BarĀ for a drink and ended up in Tribeca where we had a a bite atĀ The OdeonĀ andĀ stopped into aĀ super cool art, book and home goods storeĀ Clic.Ā
Sometimes all you need is 24 hours in a place you love to make you feel refreshed and reenergized.Ā I already can't wait to go back... Adventure always Awaits in NYC!Ā
xoxo,
Erin
