Here she is…the latest member to the family…what a little slice of heaven! Everything about her fascinates me…her rosebud ears, her paws that feel like peach skin covering a sandbag, watching her belly moves when she gets the hiccups, and the way her puppy breath smells like milk and honey . I love how the brown spot on her belly resembles a finch and the spot on her back looks like a snowman with a carrot nose… The way her eyes give me a look of approval when I throw salt over my left shoulder and her look of curiosity when she discovered her first ladybug on a blade of grass. I love cleaning between her dozens of wrinkles and watching her soft belly skim the ground. It amazes me the way her extra skin fills in every crevice of my lap and the sound of her breathing when she’s fast asleep. Oh Sukie, how I love you!
