It’s been a while since I’m written a blog post, but I have some exciting news to share…I am engaged! I’ve posted a photo my ring…the most amazing ring I have ever seen…speechless, right?
I couldn’t be happier & I thought that i’d share with you a few of the reasons I love Bryan (my fiance)…I love the way he challenges himself…without him even knowing it, it makes me want to be a better person, get up earlier, work harder, take risks, fail, get up again, and to love with all my heart. His little brown freckle inside his right ear. The scar on his lower back. His appreciation for friendships. The fact that he knows his mother loves hand-made pottery and collect birdhouses. The way his niece Avery sits on his hip and looks like a little peanut next to him. His appetite. His dance moves. The way he’ll actually take the time to make chocolate chip cookies from scratch instead of buying a package. His stability, consistency and unforced confidence. The way he always makes me feels like I can do anything…and actually be successful at it. The fact that he always draws me a map instead of writing down directions. The sound of his voice when he calls me, “babe.” The leather strap from the necklace I made him that sometimes peaks out of his collared shirt. His ability to communicate and find out what I’m thinking even when I’m having a hard time getting it out. His laughter at my craziness and nuttiness. The way his fingers feel on the back of my neck when he fastens a necklace for me. The fact that he always lets me pick out the movie, even when he knows that I will fall asleep within the first 15 minutes. Watching him crush up cookies to put in his ice-cream and add just a splash of milk. The fact that he’ll stay up all night long to help me finish a woodcarving…well, he’ll finish it for me when I fall asleep. His house made from candy for my pre-school class. The fact that he never says, “I told you so…” The colors on all his crazy tennis shoes. The way his earlobes are so soft. And, most importantly, the way he loves me with everything he has.
