On my last buying trip to New York, I feel in love with this tortoiseshell resin. I couldn’t wait to get back to my studio and come up with a few new designs to add to my collection. I’m getting excited about these fall pieces for the holiday season and pairing them up with some chunky fall sweaters.
When I was in 5th grade, I started taking guitar lessons (they only lasted a few years, but I loved them.) I was so excited to pick out my first guitar strap…a blue and yellow one with owls stitched on it and backed in leather. Since then, I’ve always loved guitar straps…especially the colorful, vintage ones that carry so many musical memories. I’ve started a new jewelry line of vintage guitar strap bangles. They are great to layer or just stand out on their own. Here are a few photos of what’s in store…even my bulldog, Sukie, is a fan!
I recently finished this custom necklace for a Matron-of-Honor. The bride wanted to have a special piece of jewelry designed for her sister that stood out but blended well with the other jewelry in the wedding. She found this vintage broach on Ebay and sent it to me to design a unique statement piece .
I’ve been working on these 8 custom gold knot bracelets for a group of bridesmaids and just finished up this morning! The bride, (shhhh…I can’t say who until she’s married in a few weeks) wanted to give each of her girls a unique gold bracelet with a knot in the middle symbolizing their friendship, unity, and of course, the day that she’s “tying the knot.”

Dani Antol and Heather McNulty are two very energetic, creative, and ambitious women. Dani wants to be an astronaut when she grows up & Heather wouldn’t mind being Wonder Woman or a back-up dancer…but, for now, they are both rockin’ it out as co-owners of a preciously perfect store, Rock Paper Scissors in Charlottesville, VA. I was psyched with Dani Antol, e-mailed me the wedding invitation that she designed for Heather’s upcoming wedding and asked me to design a pair of earrings for her to wear to the rehearsal dinner based off the colors of the invitaion. She wanted something dangly, classic, elegant, modern, casual, with a twist of fun…this is what I came up with….

These bright pink coral and black earrings are vibrant and carefree…perfect for any Bahama Mama. They are 1.75″ in length waiting for you to throw them on and hit the pink sands of Harbour Island.
These Earrings are a smaller version of the Dylan Earrings. The Hendrix Earrings are only about the size of a quarter and are a great mix of gold and a smoky silver. Match them up with a funky necklace and you’re all set to rock out!
The bright iridescent colors of peacock feathers fascinate me….the mix of bronzes, greens, magentas and yellows are amazing. This green color in the Peacock Earring remind me of a peacock feather. The earrings measure 1.75″ long.
These large earrings measure 1.75″ in diameter and are as light as a feather. What a great twist on the everyday gold hoop!
Dozens of small freshwater pearls cluster around the bottom of this gold teardrop. This earring is a great spin on the classic pearl. The teardrop hangs about 1.75″ from the earlobe.
The cheerful sunny bright yellow and silver earrings are guaranteed to keep you smiling all day long. The tiny seed beeds are hand-wired into silver teardrops and hang about 1.75″ from the ear-lobe.
When I was a little girl, I loved visiting my French grandmother every summer in a tiny town called Soueich located in the South of France. She always had old boxes full of broken porcelain and I would spend hours marveling at each piece. This necklace reminds me of those times. This large piece of porcelain is a little 2.5″in diameter and makes quite a statement. A small piece of mandarin beach glass sits on the bottom of the porcelain. The necklace hangs 24″ from the neck & is sure to be a piece you’ll relish.
The Deep Blue Sea Earrings scream sophistication and class with a touch of tranquility. Tiny navy blue sea beads are hand-wired in between a gold vermeil circle. The earrings is just a hair larger than a nickel.
The Gretchen Earrings are named after my good friend, Gretchen. For as long as I have known her, she has always loved the color pink. Anything pink just makes her smile. When I saw these small pink ice-quartz stontes, I immediately thought of her. The small teardrop stones cascade down a sterling silver chain and are a little less than 2″ in length.
If you’re a lover of all things green, this earring is sure to catch your eye. This beautiful green semi-precious stone hangs from a polished gold-filled circle to create the Green Water’s Earrings. The circle is a little smaller than a dime, and the earring hangs about 1.75″ from the ear-lobe.
The Artist’s Palate earrings are made from lavender seed beads hand wired in between a vermeil circle. The circle is about the size of a nickel and a small teardrop of a light turquoise amazonite hangs from the circle.

It is said that the freshwater pearl enables someone to accept love and to help one see the good parts of themselves so that they can love themselves and love others. There is something about a single freshwater pearl that I gravitate towards. It’s peaceful and restful and the Solitary Bracelet reminds us of this. A simple white freshwater coin pearl hangs delicately off a sterling silver chain.
I’ve been working with sweet Abby on custom designing a pair of sterling silver/orange coral/grey seed bead earrings for her bridesmaids. The girls are wearing this dress, and she wanted some fun earrings that would really make the dresses pop. Her color scheme is orange and grey and she sent this photo to me for inspiration.
