Another group of bridesmaids and a different pair of earrings for each girl…I’m loving it! These blue beauties are made from a mix of silver, blueberry quartz, amazonite, freshwater pearls, recycled beach glass, seed beads, and ice quartz. Can’t wait to see photos from the wedding and how everything tied in together!

mixin’ it up
I loved the creative freedom I had when I designed 8 pairs of earrings and necklaces for these bridesmaids. For the necklaces, the bride chose chose The Courtney Necklace in gold, but she wanted something different for the earrings. The only thing that I new for sure was that she wanted a mix of strawberry quartz, gold, and freshwater pearls in the earrings…the rest was up to me. Each pair is different to suit each maids’ personality!

Bridesmaid beauties in orange coral and gold…
A special thanks to photographer, Meg Runion, for sending these photos over to me after capturing Jennifers’ bridesmaids in custom jewelry. Jennifer McDaniel Downs worked with me to design a custom pair of orange coral and gold earrings and necklace for each girl. Her color scheme, orange and brown, was so unique and all the details blended together beautifully!
Kelly and Andy (in Uniform).
Ohhh, I just got chills looking through the photos of Kelly and Andy on their wedding day in New York. Such an adorable couple…Kelly is literally glowing and I love how Andy (who is in the Navy) wore his uniform to honor the day. Kelly chose the Joyful Teardrop Earrings for her bridesmaids and I think that the match the dresses perfectly.
Thanks to Megan Dailor who photographed the wedding and captured so many beautiful images.
Kally and Ben Love married at Veritas Vineyards
Congrats to Kally and Ben Love who were married at Veritas Vineyards in Afton, Va. For each bridesmaid, Kally chose a different word that symbolized each bridesmaid and I engraved each word on a sterling silver disc and put each disc on a sterling silver bracelet. We decided to pair each silver disc with a gold disc that had the date of their wedding and a small royal blue piece of recycled beach glass. The words that Kally chose for each bridesmaid were all heartfelt and beautiful: Loyal, Inspire, Free, Live, Courage, Heart, Family, and Strength. Kally even had one made for herself and she engraved the word, Love…her new last name and the perfect word to symbolize the special day.

Randi Dayton and Coles Jennings tie the knot
I was so excited to see the photos from Randi and Cole’s wedding. I worked with Randi years ago at Zocalo in Charlottesville, VA and was so happy when she asked me to design her bridal jewelry. Randi has a great energy and such a curiosity about life and people. I always loved listening to her tell stories about traveling the world and the people that she met….a few years ago Randi and Coles had this little sweetheart (pictured in the last photo), Blake! Congrats to such an adorable family and a beautiful wedding day.
*Randi is wearing the Jane-Garnet Earrings and her bridesmaids are wearing the Whitney Earrings.
beautiful bride
Jennifer McDaniel Downs was quite a sight on her wedding day….just beaming from head to toe. I was so happy that she chose to wear the Courtney Necklace and the Mary-Grace Earrings to accessorize her dress. Photographer, Meg Runion, captured these beautiful moments.
Broach Necklace
I recently finished this custom necklace for a Matron-of-Honor. The bride wanted to have a special piece of jewelry designed for her sister that stood out but blended well with the other jewelry in the wedding. She found this vintage broach on Ebay and sent it to me to design a unique statement piece .
Ashley and Kyle celebrate!
Ashley and Kyle were married this summer in Charlotte, NC. Charlotte Photography Studios captured the moments of the wedding in these gorgeous photos. For herself, Ashley chose the Jane Garnet Earrings and a custom freshwater pearl and sterling silver necklace. The bridesmaids wore the Iceland Earrings with their rose-colored dresses and for other attendants, a twist off the Whitney Earrings were designed to and called the Purcell Earrings.
Jennifer and Chanan!
I loved looking through the photos from this Charleston wedding especially because Jennifer asked for me to design a different pair of earrings for each of her bridesmaids! She knew that she wanted all ten pairs to have a similar look and to stick with a color scheme including ivory, gold and pearl but the rest was up to me! It was so much fun to blend together designs so that each pair was special for each girl. Photographer, Carmen Ash captured the joy and love throughout the day in these awesome photos.
Traci and Tripp tie the knot in Blowing Rock
Traci and Tripp were married a few weeks ago at Chetola Mountain Resort in Blowing Rock, NC. I met Traci when I first moved to Charlotte and allow me to tell you…this chica has got S.T.Y.L.E. She’s one of those girls who’s not afraid to take fashion risks and when she does, it just seems to work. When she got engaged, she came to me and told me that she had this idea of having me design broaches for each of her bridesmaids. She thought it would be cool to use the vintage mesh from the Cannes Necklace and use that as the base of each broach. Then, add some pearls, stones, gemstones and glass to each broach to give it a totally different effect. I was up for the challenge. I came up with these broaches and the girls were able to attach them on their bridesmaids dresses during the reception. Afterward, they can wear them with a black tank top or cocktail dress. Every little detail from Traci and Tripp’s wedding was amazing! I’m totally in love with her idea of the lock & key guest book. Traci also rocked it out wearing the Jane Garnet Earrings with her wedding dress. Congrats you two!

Nicole and Matt
A huge congrats to Nicole and Matt who were married a few weeks ago at St. Judes in Redmond with a reception following the wedding at The Hollywood Schoolhouse. Amelia Soper was the photographer who captured every bit of the wedding beautifully. I love how Nicole decided to mix the blue dresses with shades of coral. She chose the Nadine Earrings for her bridesmaids to wear on her special day.
Kathryn and Adair!
I had a blast designing jewelry for Kathryn’s wedding party and for the lovely bride, herself! Kathryn chose the classic and unique Jane Garnet Earrings for herself, the Kate Earrings for her ten bridesmaids and the Solitary Necklace for her three precious flower girls. I just love the way that everything came together so perfectly! Photographer, Sarah Cramer did an amazing job capturing the excitement and beauty of the day!
Alana and Brad – The Tides Inn
Alana and Brad were married at the end of April at The Tides Inn in Irvington, Virginia. I loved her choice of colors – coral, taupe, and white. Her girls looked gorgeous in the Dakota Earrings.

Heather and Harris
Harris proposed, Heather said, “Yes,” they both said, “I do,” and the rest is history! Heather and Harris were married on a mountaintop in Virginia, and afterward, joined friends and family at a reception that fit Heather’s personality to a tee ! Dani Antol (the other co-owner of Rock Paper Scissors and one of Heather’s best buds) designed all the invitations and I was lucky enough to design Heathers’ custom earrings. Susan Kalergis captured the fabulous-ness of the celebration through her gorgeous photos.
Blair & Adam at King Family Vineyards
Blair and Adam had a picture perfect wedding at the UVA Chapel and reception at King Family Vineyards. Kate Fitzgerald from “I Do Details” did a fantastic job coordinating the event and photographer, Jack Looney, captured every moment. The girls wore the Dakota Earrings and matched them with a lovely string of pearls.

Rhea and Jonathan married in Puerto Rico
Rhea and Jonathan were married in Puerto Rico early this month and from the looks of it, the day was incredible. I loved working with Rhea to transform a strand of her grandmothers’ pearls to create a custom bracelet for her to wear on her wedding day. Rhea also wore the Caroline Earrings to complete her look.

Cicely and Jesse…wedding bliss
In three words you could describe Cicely and Jesse’s wedding at the Clifton Inn in Charlottesville, VA as simple, classic, and perfect! Photographer, Tom Daly, captured the essence of their love beautifully. I especially enjoyed working with Cicely to design custom gold leaf cufflinks for her husband to play on their theme, “all things fall” in Charlottesville. Cicely looks stunning in the Joyful Teardrop earrings and Eva necklace. Simply stunning.
