Custom Bridal Bracelet

I just finished putting the finishing touches on this custom bridal bracelet and I wanted to share some photos with you! The bride wanted a statement bracelet incorporating her mother’s broach, but also wanted to be able to remove the broach after the wedding and wear the bracelet for a night on the town.

This morning I woke up with the urge to take a road trip. There’s nothing like driving with the windows down, listening to your favorite tunes, and allowing yourself to surrender to the road. I loved taking road trips with friends when I was in college. We’d hop in the car on an afternoon where our classes would end around noon and stop at the nearest gas station to fill up and grab our favorite “on the road” snacks: chex mix and twizzlers. We’d always have some destination in mind a the end of the day, but it was all about the journey. It wasn’t important if we arrived or not, we just wanted to be together and feel free.

Photographer, Jack Looney did a incredible job photographing Liz & Marshall’s vineyard wedding. He truly captured the glow of Liz on her special day. I loved working with Liz to design a pair of earrings similar to the Caroline Earrings. Liz doesn’t have her ears pierced, but you’d never know…we put a large freshwater coin pearl to hide the clip!

The smell of cut grass and the smell of trees after a rainstorm.
Lazy days when you’re perfectly content with being unproductive.
Falling asleep to the sound of rain hitting my bedroom window and roof.
The smell of opening a new box of crayons and remember my days in elementary school.
Thinking that you’ll have to spend the whole day shopping for something that you’re looking for & spotting what you need within the first 20 minutes.
Seeing the veins of a lightening bolt in the distance and knowing you’re in a safe place.
The blooms from a Dogwood Tree.
Popping “ready to pop” zits – I know it’s gross and you shouldn’t do it, but I just can’t stop myself.
Having my hair washed by someone who gives a really good scalp massage before having it cut.

I just loved receiving the photos from Jennifer and Brett’s wedding at the Stamford Yacht Club in Stamford, CT. Photographer, Kate Drew Miller, captured these special moments of the day and this very sweet bride. Jennifer chose the Eva Necklace for each of her girls to wear as an accent to their lovely grey dresses. The necklaces were the perfect piece to tie each different dress in together.
